Currently, their top priority is raising funds for their project in Chagu, where they need $13,000 more dollars to join forces with Engineers Without Borders and build a well. This well will provide clean water to local communities who currently have to travel through crocodile infested areas to get dirty water. This project will make a significant difference in the lives of those living in Chagu and will improve their access to clean water, which is a basic human right.

In addition to their work on the ground, CLEAN International has also partnered with CalPoly students to create technology that notifies them when a hand pump is down. In many of the villages they work in, people have no way of contacting CLEAN to repair these pumps, which can lead to prolonged periods of time without access to clean water. Thanks to the collaboration with CalPoly students, CLEAN will now be immediately notified when a pump is down, enabling them to respond quickly and efficiently to make repairs.

CLEAN International's work is critical because access to clean water is a basic human right.
